We also know that flight training should be fun and we strive to make it an experience you will treasure forever.

Gold Seal CFI, CFII, MEI, Co-Founder
Andrew Chung is a San Francisco Bay Area native who transplanted to Colorado in 2019. After graduating with his Bachelor’s degree in music, Andrew began his 10-year career in Human Resources. Realizing the views from a cockpit were far superior to that of a cubicle, Andrew began pursuing his aviation dreams in South Carolina, later completing all of his certificates in Colorado. Andrew has a passion for helping others pursue their dreams in the sky and loves making flying fun. When not in the air, he enjoys singing, cooking, traveling, and restoring cars. Andrew has recently relocated to the beautiful island of Maui.

CFII and Co-Founder
Corrie Griffin's love for aviation began at 14 years old, the first time she flew a Cessna. She graduated from CSU with a degree in Civil Engineering, later returning to get her Master’s Degree in Education. Corrie went on to teach high school math and coach cross country. After taking a break from the classroom to raise her kids, Corrie decided to merge her two passions of teaching and flying, becoming a Certified Flight Instructor. When her feet are on the ground, she is found running on the beautiful trails of Colorado, rock climbing, backpacking, weightlifting, traveling, or driving one of her three kids to activities.​

General Manager/Co-Owner
Jason Edmonds' interest in aviation began at a young age with model airplanes, model rockets,
u-control airplanes, and remote control airplanes.
He continued this interest, working as an Air Traffic Controller serving in the United States Marine Corps. He has an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice Management, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Jason is married to his wife Lana with 5 children, and his oldest son is a pilot. His free time is spent with family, traveling to new places, fly fishing, camping, and high power rocketry.

Director of Flight Instruction/CFII
Julian Hogan is a Colorado native! Julian has dreamed of becoming a pilot since he was young. He began his flying journey in 2021, earning his Private Pilot's License near Colorado Springs. Julian furthered his education and training at Aims Community College, where he graduated in 2024. He then honed his skills and obtained his CFI here at Summit Flight Training! Outside of his passion for aviation, Julian enjoys a variety of activities, including football, baseball, hiking, fishing and traveling!

CFI, Executive Assistant
Madi Denzel is a Greeley native! Madi's journey in aviation began in 2021 right here at the Greeley Airport. She earned her Private Pilot's License while attending CSU, where she also earned a degree in Sociology. She then attended Aeroguard Flight Training in Arizona to earn her Instrument Rating and Commercial License. Madi did her CFI course with Summit Flight Training and is right back where she started, teaching aspiring pilots at the same airport she first soloed at! Outside of flying, Madi enjoys basketball, snowboarding, chess, and spending time fishing with her family.

CFI
Laura Hall started her love of flying from a young age but didn't start pursuing an aviation career until later in life. Originally from the east coast, she moved to CO in 2017 with her husband and after 7 years of working as a nurse, she decided to make a big career change and has been flying locally since 2020. The rest is history! Outside of flying, Laura has three dogs and enjoys being outside and trying new things!

CFII
Tyler Vasquez is a Colorado native that started his flying career at a young age, completing his Private Pilot's License in High School. He attended the University of North Dakota where he received the rest of his flight training. Later, He attended the University of Minnesota Crookston and received an Aviation Management Degree. Outside of flying, Tyler enjoys traveling, hunting, golfing, and lake life. ​​​​​

CFI
Christian Gallegos is a Colorado native who has resided near Greeley for almost a decade. Christian's aviation journey began with a career change from law enforcement, where he worked as an officer for over ten years. Christian began his aviation journey with a discovery flight at Summit Flight Training in 2022. Christian went on to complete all of his certificates working with instructors at Summit Flight Training. Outside of flying, Christian enjoys spending time with his wife, Meagan, and their two dogs, Rhea and Freya.

CFII
Kamrin’s aviation bug began ticking in middle school after hearing the aviation stories from his father who served as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Marines. He moved to Colorado in 2020 and started his journey from zero hours, then his discovery flight in Summits very own N8840U, to CFI/CFII all at Summit Flight Training and has never looked back. His aviation aspirations are the airlines, but he isn’t limiting himself to the many aviation career avenues. Outside of enjoying the blue skies of Colorado, Kamrin enjoys golfing, home DIY projects, and traveling.

CFII
Garrett Dinkel is a Colorado native! He discovered his love for aviation the summer before his senior year of high school on a trip with his Uncle, who is a pilot for Southwest Airlines. He attended Aims Community College for 1 year and is now working towards a Bachelors in Aviation Management at Liberty University. Over the last 14 months, Garrett has received his Private Pilot License, Instrument ating, High Performance Rating, Commercial Pilot License, and became a Certified Flight Instructor. Outside of flying, Garrett enjoys golfing, mountain bike riding and watching football, but right now it’s flying all the time!

CFII
Ben Clasquin is a Colorado Native and graduated from Colorado University. Shortly after graduating, Ben and his wife Mandy moved to Greeley in 2010. He has dreamed of being a pilot since the 7th grade and finally made that dream come true 2 years ago! Ben and Mandy have two beautiful little girls, Kayla and Emma. They enjoy hiking, camping, and flying as a family! Ben spent 15 years teaching before becoming a pilot and is excited to teach and fly at the same time!

MEI
From flight attendant to pilot, Abigail Hudson has circled the globe and now help aspiring pilots reach new heights! With years of travel experience under her belt, Abigail brings a unique perspective to the training process mixing safety, adventure, and a bit of humor into ever lesson. Whether navigating the skies or breaking down aviation theory on the ground with her students, she is all about making learning fun and unforgettable. Outside of flying, Abigail is an avid sailor and enjoys embroidering, hiking and baking.

Accounting Manager
Ken Neet is a Greeley native. He went to college in Southern California where he earned a business degree and had a career teaching accounting at Aims Community College. He doesn’t remember a time when he was not interested in aviation and earned his Private Pilot License the summer after he graduated from high school. He still looks up when he hears a plane fly over and enjoys his involvement with the financial side of Summit Flight Training. When not buried in accounting ledgers, he enjoys the outdoor opportunities of Northern Colorado. Currently his free time is mostly with three grandsons, one of whom has flown with him several times.
